04 - Seal the shaker or jar and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds until well-mixed and frothy.
05 - Strain the mixture into two tall glasses filled with fresh ice.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It tastes like a fancy coffeehouse drink but costs a fraction of the price and takes barely ten minutes.
  • The color is so naturally vibrant that it feels like you're treating yourself even though it's completely plant-based.
  • You can shake it together while chatting with friends, making it as much about the moment as the drink itself.
02 -
  • If you use canned coconut milk instead of the carton version, the drink gets thick and heavy; I learned this the hard way and now I'm weirdly protective about this detail.
  • The freeze-dried strawberries are non-negotiable for flavor—fresh strawberries alone won't give you that concentrated berry intensity or the pretty color, so don't skip them even if they cost a bit more.
03 -
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer for 5 minutes before straining—this keeps the drink colder longer and makes it feel extra special to hold.
  • If you're using açaí powder instead of purée, whisk it with a tiny bit of the juice first to dissolve any lumps before adding everything to the shaker.
