08 - Cut each sandwich in half and serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Ready in under 20 minutes, but tastes like you spent way more effort than you actually did.
  • The bacon gives you that satisfying crunch that makes every bite feel a little special.
  • Perfect for lunch, dinner, or that in-between meal when you need something that genuinely fills you up.
02 -
  • The tomato will release juice no matter what you do, so that mayo barrier is genuinely essential—skip it and you'll end up with soggy bread within minutes.
  • Ripe tomatoes are the whole difference here; underripe tomatoes taste like sad vegetables, so taste yours before committing and don't be afraid to wait for a better one.
03 -
  • Pat your tomato slices dry with a paper towel before assembling—this one small step removes excess moisture that would otherwise make your bread sad and soggy.
  • Keep your lettuce and tomato cold until the last possible moment, then assemble everything just before eating so the warm toast stays warm and the cold vegetables stay cold.
